By HighDanger PAV (our all-around value metric), the top of the league is a near-dead heat: Nathan MacKinnon (14.87) grades out a hair ahead of Connor McDavid (14.55) and Leon Draisaitl (14.54). McDavid led the NHL in raw scoring with 138 points, but MacKinnon's two-way value edges him in our model, and he also posts the best 5v5 expected-goals share of the three (59.2% xGF%).
