A full snake draft against opponents that pick off our 2026-27 projections, not a name-recognition list. Yahoo's default roster and points scoring, so the board you rehearse on is the board you will actually draft from.
Loading the board…
Keepers come off the board before it is drafted, and the shortfall is not spread evenly. In a 12 team league keeping two apiece, centre loses 48 points of replacement and left wing 40, while right wing loses 17 and goalies do not move. The position everyone kept is the one you cannot fill.
In a real keeper league you know who every team kept, so name them here and they come off the board for that team. Fill in as many as you know: any slot left empty is filled with the best player still available, so entering only your own team still works.
Change any category and the whole board re-scores: totals, replacement level, how the opponents value a player, and the average draft position, which is re-simulated against your settings rather than left describing the default ones.
You draft against a room of opponents that pick off our 2026-27 projections rather than a list of famous names. They weight a player's projected points against his value over replacement at his own position, and they fill their roster the way a real manager does, so defencemen and goalies come off the board when they should. Every pick shows an average draft position measured over 1,500 simulated drafts of this exact room, which is how you can tell a reach from a value. That figure is ours, not the market's: nobody has drafted a 2026-27 fantasy team yet.
The board is built on Yahoo's head to head points defaults, taken from a real league rather than assumed, so the draft you rehearse is the draft you play. Positions come from our team depth charts instead of the NHL's registration field, which lists plenty of wingers as centres. Carter Verhaeghe is a left wing here because that is where he plays.
