TV - Trade Value
A single-number estimate of a player's trade value, blending on-ice production with contract status:
Production: points per 82 (save% for goalies), scaled by position - the main driver
Two-way impact: a small nudge for play-driving (xGF%), 5v5 rate, ice time, and finishing
Age: value tapers off from 32 onward
Term and clause: years left, plus any no-trade / no-move friction
RFAs are valued on production (the team still holds their rights). Pending UFAs carry no trade value, they can walk. Draft picks and retained salary convert onto the same TV scale.
