Robert Thomas and Jordan Kyrou carried the offense when healthy, but with Kyrou's name in trade rumors all year, St. Louis finally cashed him in, dealing him to Washington this summer for Connor McMichael, a prospect, and a 2026 first. Jordan Binnington had the worst season of his career (.873 SV%, 3.33 GAA) and watched Joel Hofer take the starter's net down the stretch, and the Blues missed the playoffs in a transitional year that signaled the rebuild is closer than anyone wanted to admit. The 2019 Cup core is officially out of runway.
