We are running through all 32 teams, three fantasy players at a time, two new teams every weekday until all 32 are done. Today it is Los Angeles and Vegas.
Add up each team's top three on our board and Vegas ranks 10th of 32 and Los Angeles 22nd. Vegas's top player is Jack Eichel, who comes in as the 14th best player overall for this year's fantasy draft. Their next two are 47th and 49th. Los Angeles has no player inside the top 40 at all, and its best three are 44th, 51st and 91st.
Fantasy points below are Yahoo-style scoring from our 2026-27 projections. The band after each is that player's floor and ceiling, not a guarantee.
Jack Eichel, Vegas

Eichel is 14th overall and the highest-ranked player in this article by 33 places. We project 36 goals, 59 assists and 95 points on 274 shots, with 32 power play points on an 81.6% share.
His band is 780 to 867, 87 points wide and the tightest in this article. Panarin's is more than twice that. He has scored 94 and 90 points in the last two seasons, so the projection asks him to repeat, not to improve.
His availability is 76.8%. His games by season read 34, 67, 63, 77, 74, and 77 is the most he has played in five years. The band measures his scoring rate, not the number of games he plays.
He is 29 and signed at $13.50M through 2034.
Mark Stone, Vegas

Stone is 47th overall. We project 31 goals, 53 assists and 84 points on 174 shots, with 22 power play points on a 77.0% share.
His availability is 63.9%, the lowest in this article. Eichel is next at 76.8%. His games by season read 37, 43, 56, 66, 60, so he has not played 70 games in any of the last five seasons, and he is 34 now.
Last season's 28 goals came on 130 shots, which is 21.5%, and the four years before that read 12.7, 15.0, 13.7, 14.5. We project 31 goals on 174 shots, which is 17.8%, so we are asking for more volume and less efficiency at the same time.
He is the captain, signed at $9.50M, and a free agent after this season.
Mitch Marner, Vegas

Marner is 49th overall, 1.1 fantasy points behind Stone, which is close enough to call a tie. We project 26 goals, 61 assists and 87 points, with 27 power play points on a 79.9% share.
The 61 assists are the reason to draft him. Only Eichel also clears 55 in this article, and Marner's five seasons read 62, 69, 59, 75, 56 assists, so the projection sits inside his own range rather than above it.
His first Vegas season produced 80 points, down from 102 in his last Toronto year. We project 87.
That is three Vegas players in a row taking at least 77% of the power play. All three projections lean on the same unit, so they rise and fall together.
He is 29 and signed at $12.00M through 2033.
Artemi Panarin, Los Angeles

Panarin is 44th overall and Los Angeles's best fantasy player in his first full season there. We project 29 goals, 54 assists and 83 points on 245 shots, with 25 power play points on an 83.7% share, the biggest share in this article.
He split last season, 52 games in New York and 26 in Los Angeles, and the two halves scored at nearly the same rate: 57 points then 27.
His band is 580 to 775, 195 points wide, the widest here. He is 34, and his last three seasons read 120 points, 89, then 84 across two teams. The band covers all three.
He is signed at $11.00M through 2028.
Adrian Kempe, Los Angeles

Kempe is 51st overall. He has played 78, 82, 77, 81 and 81 games in the last five seasons, and scored 67, 75, 73 and 73 points in the last four. His band is 619 to 711, 92 points wide, the second tightest in this article.
We project 35 goals, 37 assists and 72 points on 240 shots, plus 124 hits, the most in this article. His shooting percentage across five seasons reads 14.2, 16.4, 11.4, 14.8, 15.9, a range of five points.
He is 30 and signed at $10.62M through 2034, which pays him through his 37-year-old season. His best year is 75 points.
Kevin Fiala, Los Angeles

Fiala is 91st overall. We project 27 goals, 36 assists and 63 points on 240 shots, with 20 power play points on a 68.1% share.
He played 56 games last season and scored 40 points, and the four seasons before that were 82, 69, 82 and 81 games. We have him at 90.2% availability, which is above last season and below the four before it.
His band is 547 to 641, 94 points wide, two points off Kempe's.
He is 30 and signed at $7.88M through 2029.
What we would actually do
Eichel is the pick in this article and it is not close on points. He is 33 places clear of the next man and has the tightest band here. One caveat matters more for him than for anyone else: the 95 points assume a full season. Our availability figure sits beside the projection, it does not reduce it. At his own 76.8% that is closer to 73 points, so draft him with a backup for the weeks he misses.
Stone is the one to be careful with. 84 points is real production, but 63.9% availability in a weekly lineup means you are starting someone else for a third of the season, and the goal projection needs him to shoot more often and score on fewer.
Marner is the safer half of the Stone and Marner pair at effectively the same price. 61 assists, 93.4% availability, and no shooting percentage that has to come back to earth.
For Los Angeles, take Kempe if you want the floor and Panarin if you want the ceiling, and be honest with yourself about which one you actually draft for. The 92-point band and the 195-point band are the whole argument. Fiala is the value pick of the three: he ranks 40 places below Kempe and projects within 71 fantasy points of him.
Floor, ceiling and availability on all 406 skaters and 80 goalies, sortable.
