| Metric | What it means |
|---|---|
| GP | Games played in the view you're looking at (regular season or playoffs). |
| G | Goals. Pucks the player put in the net. |
| A | Assists. The last pass before a goal, plus the pass before that. Up to two assists credited per goal. |
| P | Points. Goals plus assists. |
| S / S% | Shots on goal · shooting percentage (goals / shots). |
| PPG | Power-play goals. |
| ixG | Individual expected goals. Sum of HighDanger xG values across every shot this player took. "How many goals should this player have scored based on shot quality?" |
| Finishing (G − ixG) | Actual goals minus expected. Positive = outscoring expectation (hot finish / sniper). Negative = underfinishing (snake-bitten / cold). |
| xGF% (5v5) | Share of expected goals the team gets while this player is on ice at 5v5. 50% = even. Above = team out-creates, below = team out-created. Team-quality stat, not individual. |
| xG diff (5v5) | Raw expected-goals differential. xGF − xGA while this player is on ice at 5v5. Same story as xGF% in absolute goals, not a share. |
| Primary P/60 (5v5) | Goals + primary assists (1st assist only) per 60 minutes at 5v5. Strips out the secondary-assist noise and the deployment-luck (more TOI = more raw points). The cleanest individual-impact stat in counting hockey. |
| Percentile bars | Where this skater ranks vs the NHL pool, split by position group (forwards vs defensemen) with 10+ GP regular season / 3+ GP playoffs. 90th percentile = better than 90% of pool. Green ≥75th, amber 50-74th, gray below. |
| Shot profile by type | Per-shot-type breakdown on skater cards: shots, goals, S%, ixG, Finishing split out by wrist / slap / snap / backhand / tip-in / etc. Shows which release types a shooter scores on. Mirror of the goalie xGA-by-type table. |
| Metric | What it means |
|---|---|
| GP | Games played in the view you're looking at (regular season or playoffs). |
| W | Wins. The goalie of record when the team wins. |
| L | Regulation losses. The team lost while this goalie was on the ice at the buzzer. |
| OTL | Overtime or shootout losses. Still worth one point in the standings. |
| SV% | Save percentage. saves / shots-on-goal. .900 = stops 90% of shots faced. |
| GAA | Goals-against average. (goals against × 60) / minutes played. Lower is better. |
| SO | Shutouts (zero goals against in a full game). |
| xGA | Expected goals against. Sum of HighDanger xG across every shot the goalie faced. "How many goals should this goalie have given up?" |
| GSAx | Goals Saved Above Expected = xGA − GA. Positive = stopping more than league xG would predict (elite). Negative = bleeding goals. Removes team-defense bias from SV%. In playoffs, leverage shots count extra: 2x for any OT shot, any Game 7 shot, and shots in the last 2:00 of the 3rd while leading by 1. 1.5x for the last 2:00 of the 3rd while tied. Saves AND goals against carry the bonus, so the metric stays honest both ways. |
| Zone SV% | Save percentage broken down by where the shot came from. The 10-zone goal map (matchup view) shows shots faced + GA + SV% for each cell. |
| xGA by shot type | Per-type breakdown on goalie cards: shots faced, GA, SV%, and GSAx split out by wrist / slap / snap / backhand / tip-in / etc. Reveals which shot types a goalie handles vs which beat them. Built from the same xG model the headline GSAx uses. |
| Percentile bars | Where this goalie ranks vs the NHL pool (10+ GP regular season, 2+ GP playoffs). 90th percentile = better than 90% of pool. |
